Grand view community garden
Grandview Community Garden is a reclaimed city space in which to learn gardening skills, grow crops, work together and care for a small part of the planet.
We supported this opportunity for people from different cultures and backgrounds to work alongside each other to grow their own fresh healthy produce and learn new skills. A gully has been turned into an educational native area which provides habitat for tui and other species as well as a sustainably harvested supply source of Maori medicinal and useful plants for the local community.
